● The concept in developing this kazunoko (herring roe) is everyday fare. Certified as a Food with Functional Claims by the Japanese government's Consumer Affairs Agency (certification number C2), this herring roe is packed with DHA and EPA while low in purines, and is clinically proven to lower triglycerides and LDL (bad) cholesterol.

● Each pack contains about 5 skeins of herring roe, hand picked as an easy to eat size. Lightly salted, these roe can be eaten as is, or as a great addition to other dishes. Each piece is hand picked by our experienced workers to be of the highest quality with an exquisite, crunchy texture.
